Shots Fired

for everyone
Move over Indiana Jones, Cambodia Kunawicz (that sounds horrid) sought treasure, chocolate and cuties in Siem Reap. What was aplenty was craftsmanship, spirituality, history, culture, foliage and wonders. Here are shots of Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Bayon, Ta Prohm and the temple of the Snake Lady.

I have to go back--to chill out more and visit Banteay Srei (Citadel of the Women), a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva.

Amazing amazing amazing structures.

Nice shots, Krengky! Glad you finally got to go! Were you able to see everything you wanted to over there?

Pretty Lee! What is her nickname? (to your Cambodia Kunawicz)

Love the idea of the Citadel of the Women...Cambodia is first on my list of must-go-see places, but everyone tells me it has to be last, as nothing compares to it!!

Thanks! I've been enjoying your posts a lot--though I haven't checked the ones you posted while I was away. We flew out of Singapore on JetStar--the schedules aren't so friendly BUT the rates are, especially if you select JetSaver! And the flights leave on time. The most expensive thing would be the flight as once you get there, you can find cozy digs for $20 USD a night and lower.

No need to change to riels, just have loads of US $1 bills and you're set. Everything there is "one dolla."

May 22 and 23. I wouldn't mind going back and I'd probably suggest 6 days to take it all in--the temples, the sights, the sounds, the smells, the food, the Old Market and Tonle Sap.

Well now that I've discovered JetStar, it wouldn't be too far fetched to return and stay longer--and I also found a place to savor chocolates near the Old Market. It's called Blue Pumpkin.

Laos and Hanoi seem interesting too. Gosh Belle maybe you and I would look like a gay couple with Vince traveling on a train from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh! Baka ma-shock ang mga cuties pag kinindatan ko! He he he.

No--I missed out on Banteay Srei so that's a reason to go back. And I wouldn't mind kicking back, sampling a massage and r
